Patriot’s Day Celebrated at James Foster Elementary School

James Foster Elementary in Saugus celebrated Patriot's Day on Friday, September 9. This is the 2nd year that the school put on this event and based on the success, it is sure to continue. Dr. Deborah Bohn, Principal, said "It is wonderful to give the children at Foster an opportunity to recognize and honor those in our school community who sacrifice so much for us."

Road Rehab Program

One of the most important things we do at the City of Santa Clarita is maintenance of the City's infrastructure. This includes projects to fix damaged sidewalks that may be unsafe tripping hazards, and repairing paseo bridges so they remain in good condition.

‘The Magic of Idyllwild’

Summertime and the living is easy and very HOT! It was triple digits in Santa Clarita, but cool inside Disney Hall on Sunday afternoon, August 14. I was thrilled as I watched, my son Timothy Cervenka perform with the Idyllwild Arts Academy Chorus and Orchestra in downtown Los Angeles at the Walt Disney Concert Hall.

Orchestra Seeks Musicians

As the Santa Clarita Philharmonic embarks on its fourth season of bringing professional level classical music to the Santa Clarita Valley, we have a need for additional musicians. We have vacancies in our French horn and trombone sections. We are always ready to welcome all string players, especially violas, cellos, and basses. Auditions are not required.
