Cemex mining project still stalled

Two months after a congressional subcommittee determined it needs a cost estimate before considering a bill to block a mega-mine in Santa Clarita; the request to conduct the estimate hasn't been made. Residents and the city have been fighting the proposed Canyon Country mine for more than two decades – yet, ironically, not all residents are opposed.
